Ride to RISE Women’s Retreat!

This camp has had a huge impact on my life in a very short amount of time. The month before coming to camp had been one of the toughest times in my life with my marriage and kids as well as some other issues.  A few days before camp, I almost cancelled. I prayed about it and the next day a few loose ends were cleaned up that I really needed in order to be able to leave my home and attend this event. I have told so many women about this experience.  I have stepped out of my comfort zone and am opening up to people. I have you and your amazing family to thank for that. I look forward to seeing what God has in store for me and attending camp next year. ~ Anonymous

Joining the 2020 Faith and Pheasant hunt, with Karin, impacted my life in more ways than one! I had prayed for God to place me in the presence of women who were like me, praised God and loved being outdoors enjoying all the beauty He created! In one weekend, I found those people!!! Being a below the knee amputee, I was so nervous about making the journey from Arkansas to Nebraska by myself, stepping out of my comfort zone and meeting women whom I had only talked to by phone. But when I arrived, Karin, along with the other women there, all greeted me with a smile and instantly made me feel at home. I created many friendships in just 2 days that will last a lifetime. Karin’s love didn’t stop there though. She later invited me to join her Bible studies and she helped me dig deeper into my spiritual growth!! She taught me how to give more of my time to God and I have never felt so full!! This past year has been such a blessing to me. I can’t wait to attend the 2021 Faith and Pheasant hunt. Karin has inspired me in many ways and I constantly learn from her! God is amazing at how He sends people into our lives at just the right time!
